Giant Meteor is a one-man consultancy from CJ ​Bargamian, an entertainment marketing veteran with ​extensive experience developing strategy, building ​teams, and executing multi-platform campaigns for ​some of the biggest names in television & film. He is ​now focused on bringing his expertise to new clients ​on a contract, freelance, and fractional basis.

About CJ

CJ Bargamian is a marketing executive who specializes in crafting large-scale ​campaigns to launch high-profile digitalproducts and entertainment properties, and ​assembling exceptional teams to bring them to market.

But that’s just a super-fancy way of saying that he really likes bringing great people ​together to do incredible things. Like launching TV networks, shows, streaming ​services, and digital products. And making music. And building things. Stuff like that.

And that’s why after getting a degree in Political Science and spending a few years ​driving around the country in a minivan playing with a band, CJ ended up in the ​entertainment business working for Atlanta’s own ‘Island of Misfit Toys,’ Turner ​Broadcasting.

During his time there, CJ touched nearly every brand in the portfolio, leading digital ​and social media marketing for TNT, and managing digital media campaigns for ​networks like Cartoon Network and CNN. He then served as VP of Digital Marketing ​at STARZ, overseeing all things digital for their linear networks and direct-to-​consumer streaming service before returning to Turner to build an audience for ​TCM’s FilmStruck product.

Most recently, CJ was VP Consumer Marketing at Magnolia Network, a joint venture ​between Warner Bros Discovery and Chip and Joanna Gaines, where he played a ​lead role in the multi-platform network launch.

CJ believes in a “hearts & minds” approach to marketing, where strong data ​analytics and robust creativity come together to yield innovative and effective ​campaigns. Additionally, he is dedicated to creating a workplace culture that allows ​great people to do their best work through kindness, compassionate leadership, and ​mentorship.
